Our story.
Travaroots began in 2025 with two friends and a conviction: the best of Sri Lanka was never on the itineraries — it lives with the people who call the island home.
We're young by design. No inventory to push, no partnerships we didn't choose, no scripts. Every journey is built from scratch by the two of us, with hosts, guides and drivers we know by name — and priced so the village kitchen, the family bungalow and the trail keeper are paid properly, not last.
That's the whole business model. Travel that leaves the island better than it found it — and travellers who come back saying it was the realest trip they've ever taken.

Ten-plus years building business-to-business relationships across the island's stay scene — boutique hotels, tea-estate bungalows, family-run villas. Dilan's craft is communication: if a property is worth sleeping in, he knows the owner by name and exactly what it takes to host you properly.
Krish
A travel-experience curator who has connected travellers from every corner of the world with the island's back roads. Ajesh reads people fast, then finds the un-Googleable — the quiet trail, the aunty's kitchen, the beach with nobody on it — shaped to exactly who's travelling.
